PozzFill

Afrimat PozzFill Logo

PozzFill® is widely used in the production of general purpose concrete products and in the manufacture of cement. Other applications include structural fill, road stabilisation, grouts, mine back-filling and dry precast products. PozzFill®, like DuraPozz®, fully complies with the requirements for fly ash as a constituent in factory blended common cements in accordance with SANS EN197. DuraPozz® and PozzFill® are delivered to site in pneumatic tankers.

PozzFill® is produced from pulverised fuel ash, which is extracted from the flue gases of pulverised coal-fired power stations.

The product is predominantly aluminosilicate and spherical in shape, comprising particles ranging in size from 75 micron to submicron in size.

This unique combination of particle size distribution and chemical composition of PozzFill® enables the product to impart significant features and benefits when added to a concrete mix or when included in a cementitious binder. PozzFill® is supplied dry and is light grey in colour.

The spherical shape, size distribution and chemical characteristics of PozzFill® significantly enhance theperformance of concrete.

All products produced by Ash Resources are controlled and tested in compliance with the company’s ISO 9001 quality management system, ensuring customers of the highest level of consistency and service. PozzFill® is available from Ash Resources’ plants that are SANS 50450 “N” compliant.
